FAQ WHATBOT CHATBOT
1. I can’t download/install WhatBot. Chrome detects it to be malicious
Our software is clean and secure. Please try to download the program with another browser and if you see the SmartScreen window, click on “More Info” –> “Run AnyWay” button to proceed with the installation.
2. Does WhatBot works with personal or business whatsapp account?
It works with both personal and business account. We suggest to use with a whatsapp account installed in a dedicated device (smartphone/tablet)
3. I see LICENSE EXPIRED window, why?
The license expires after 6 months and you have to renew it.
4. The program is not sending messages (text and/or images)?
a) You have to put the Country code in front of the numbers (55 for Brazil, 91 for India, etc..).
b) Do not enter “00” in the prefix of numbers!
c) Try to close and reopen the program
Also be sure to have last version of program, you can download it from DOWNLOAD PAGE
4bis. The program is not sending attachment (PDF / video/ image / audio)?
Perhaps the file name contains unsupported characters. Simply rename your file as “myfile.pdf” (for PDF) or “myfile.mp4” (for VIDEO) or “myfile.jpg” (for JPG image) and then upload it to the program.
4bisbis. The number filter is not working?
You have to put the Country code in front of the numbers (55 for Brazil, 91 for India, etc..). Do not enter “00” in the prefix of numbers!
5. The whatbot is not working anymore, why?
Try to close and reopen the program, click on Open Whatsapp button and disconnect and reconnect your whatsapp account scanning the QR code.
If you see “LoggedOff” as status at the top right of the program, click on Open Whatsapp button and disconnect and reconnect your whatsapp account scanning the QR code.
Please be sure you have last version of software, go in DOWNLOAD PAGE to download last version
6. I don’t see the QR code
Try to:
-delete cookies in Chrome and Edge
-disable your proxy and antivirus
-delete the folder “WhatBotPlus” in the Appdata/Roaming folder in your PC
7a. I have error importing .xlsx file (error Microsoft ACE OLEDB.12 not registered on local machine) ?

7b. I have problems to import csv file with names and numbers, how can I solve it?
Be sure to import csv with the “;” separator, with names in 1st field and numbers in the 2nd field.
8. Replies are not sent to numbers not in my phone contacts and I see an error “api.whatsapp.com/error”
Please set the English language to your Whatsapp Web and this will fix the issue.
9. The automatic reply does not work and is not sent. If I attach an image, the user receives only the image but not the text. What I do?
If you entered the answer (textual) by copying and pasting from another source .. rewrite it manually. Doing copy and paste sometimes inserts unformatted characters that the program does not recognize

10. How to avoid or reduce risk of ban?
WhatsApp can ban your account if some recipients report your message as spam and/or you send a lot of messages in a short time.
To reduce risk of ban please add a delay of 4-5 seconds between messages, use variables in the messages and try to contact only users who knows you.
